Answer: Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) is the associate company of The
Royal Mint of Malaysia. The Royal Mint of Malaysia is currently holding 50% stake
in Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd). 2.
What are the eligibility criteria to become the franchisee? Answer: The
criteria is as follows: i. A Private Limited Company (Sdn. Bhd.) with a minimum
paid up capital of RM100,000 ii. At least 2 shareholders/ partners. iii.
5 years financial services working experience 3.
How much capital is required to start the outlet? Answer: Capital outlay
to start the outlet varies according to the types of outlet operating model. It
would range between RM50,000 for the selected types of services outlet to RM80,000
for the full service outlet, excluding paid up capital. 4.
How about the IT system and is it inclusive in the capital outlay requirements?
Answer: No, the IT hardware is procured through a very attractive and
affordable leasing arrangement with Hewlett Packard and it is not included in
the initial capital outlay. The Franchisee is required to pay a nominal sum for
the IT equipment leasing cost over a 3-year period. 5.
What are other monthly charges or cost that the franchisee has to incur?
Answer: Apart from the IT equipment leasing charges, there will only be IT
system maintenance cost and the normal monthly operating cost such as salary,
statutory contribution, space rental, telecommunication charges, office equipment
charges and insurance cost. 6.
How does Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) differ from other organization that provides
payment and financial related services? Answer: Firstly, Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) outlets do not intend to compete with the existing players but instead
will complement their existence. The outlets will become a one-stop centre, run
by owner-operator that addresses almost all the financial needs of the individuals.

Who are the target customers or end users of the services? Answer: The
target customers are individuals and SMI/ SME operators. 8.
Will there be any financing package for the potential franchisees? Answer:
We are working closely with PUNB and CGC to address the financing needs of
the franchisees. We will also assist the franchisees in submitting the financing
applications to the respective financiers. 9.
Will Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) assist the franchisee to find the operating location?
Answer: We can assist the potential franchisee to secure the operating
location as in most cases, the landlord or venue owner would prefer to work with
an organization. However, the franchisee must first identify the location. 10.
Is there any business model similar to Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd)? Answer:
Our business model came about after the Australian experience. When the Australian
Government consolidated their local banks to become only 4 major banks, there
were a huge number of bank personnel that had to take up the separation scheme.
To overcome the large number of unemployment in the financial services sector,
the Australian Government has put up a retraining programme to allow the mentioned
group of personnel to become financial broker. At

services personnel to reutilize their years of training and experience in the
financial services sector by operating the financial services related franchise

Can one franchise holder of Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) operate more than one outlet?
Answer: Our intention is to provide opportunities to as many former financial
services sector personnel as possible. As such, we would not allow one franchise
holder to hold more than 2 outlets at the beginning stage. However, we are willing
to consider the application to operate more than the allowed number of outlets
after at least 18 months of operations. 12.
What are the types of services that can generate 'fast' returns? Answer:
Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) offers 3 types of core services as mentioned earlier and
the returns are very much depending on the locations of the outlets. Some type
of services may be popular and acceptable in certain locations and vice versa.
In franchise business, the normal return of investment rate would be achieved
after 12 - 24 months of operations. It is the type of business that requires a
lot of hard work and full commitment. 13.
I have an existing Sdn. Bhd. company. Can I include Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) franchise
business as part of the existing businesses that are being run by the similar
company? Answer: For easy and hassle free accounting purposes, we would
require a separate Sdn. Bhd. company with Board Resolution accepting the inclusion
of Fask Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly knowan as The Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd) franchise as the business objective of the company.
